If you’ve never experienced the 4th of July in Madisonville, let us be the first to tell you—you’re in for a treat. The city pulls out all the stops, and the celebration feels like a perfect slice of small-town summer.

The fun kicks off at 4:15 p.m. with Madisonville’s signature parade. There’s no need to register—just show up at First Baptist Church with whatever set of wheels you’ve got. Golf cart? Tractor? Vintage convertible that hasn’t seen daylight since last summer? If it rolls, it belongs in the parade.

By 5 p.m., the party shifts over to Lake Madison Park, where the real magic happens. Kids can splash the afternoon away at the splash pad while you browse booths from some of our favorite local makers, bakers, and creators from across Madison County and surrounding areas. A few friendly faces you’ll see are: Face Fantasy Face Paint, Sea and Saddle, Dancin’ Dogs Ranch, The Cake Pop Wagon LLC, Bobalorian, Kona Ice, and more.

There will also be live music from The Modulation Band, and of course, fireworks at dusk that never disappoint.

“The City of Madisonville is thrilled to welcome everyone to our annual 4th of July Celebration—a beloved tradition that brings our community together in the spirit of patriotism and fun,” The City of Madisonville Marketing and Tourism Director Shelby Stallings said. “With vibrant local vendors, spectacular fireworks, live music, and a festive parade, this event truly showcases the heart of Madisonville. We can’t wait to celebrate with our residents and visitors alike!”

This is one of those family-friendly 4th of July activities in Madisonville that really captures what we love most about this town—welcoming, festive, and full of heart.
